Luaus, banana pies and sun! We had such a wonderful time in Hawaii. There were so many things to do and certainly not enough time. We experienced a lot of "firsts" though. Avery's first airplane trip, snorkeling for Lew and the kids, and watching sea turtles bask in the sun were among my favorites! :)

Sue's memorial was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better day. As the sun rose on a beautiful beach off the beaten tourist path, we were able to laugh, cry and share wonderful memories of a truly amazing person! In a tidal pool, inhabited by a lone crab, there are 16 leis and a coconut floating in the water!

I got to spend time with family, not just my own little one, but with the huge family that I am so lucky to have through Lewis. It was truly an island takeover! I spent a long time sorting through the 650+ photos that I took. There a few amazing photos that sum up our trip perfectly. Farewell Hawaii, but not forever! There are too many fond memories to avoid you again!
